Over the last academic year, the University of Nottingham has been unwavering in their decision to suspend 48 courses across 15 different subject areas. As part of Future Nottingham, these courses were declared suspended in November 2025, with the suspensions taking effect in September 2026. In May 2026, a further 2,700 staff members were informed they were at risk of redundancy.
