vinted is the WORST shopping website i've ever used. you need to click 3 times to login with email. jean sizes are mixed with elastic sizes which doesn't make sense. they requested my phone number AFTER creating my account, a very bad practice that only glowie websites do like facebook and google...

They’re worse than Temu and Shein. Vinted is refusing to refund me for an item I did not receive. I’ve got money back from Amazon, Ebsy, Whatnot, Shein, Temu, TK Maxx etc. I’ve NEVER experienced such an incredibly frustrating, tone deaf site. They don’t care! #Vinted #BuyerBeware

They can’t be trusted. They don’t give a damn about the buyers.

Someone copied my info to sell old tripp pants on vinted, and their support is so bad that they won’t kill the fake account. :/ worst site, don’t trust it.

At first I liked Vinted because used clothes in good condition benefit the environment. But I've had a few bad experiences lately and they have been completely useless, no sense of customer care. Every day they are looking like yet another big corporate enterprise. It's so sad to see.

I know we’re in a recession purely by the number of ads I’ve seen for resale platforms. Depop and Vinted want you to engage with them /so/ bad

#vintedpro pro have a very good tactic of not responding to messages to verify accounts. This enables them to hold onto funds and gain interest on it. Very bad when the money belongs to a charity. #vintedprocharity #vinted

Bad experience. They cater more to the seller than to the buyers. I have a lost item but I’m told I can’t get my money back. 😡

Following complaints about second-hand online marketplace Vinted, we acted with national consumer authorities to address them. The platform has aligned with EU consumer law: 🔹 informing upfront about the total price 🔹 removing misleading ads 🔹 providing clearer information → europa.eu/!TxyT6C

Intrigued reading of complaints about being banned by Vinted, eBay, Twitter, booking.com etc. If it wasnt so heartbreaking for so many small businesses it would be laughable: these half-arsed gig economy apps. Personal experience is that these app businesses have zero customer service.

Some advice for any of you who use the Vinted App. Do not trust them. They don’t care if an item is lost. They won’t give you your money back. Amazon, eBay, whatnot, Temu. TikTok and Shein will all give you a refund. VINTED will not. BUYER BEWARE!! #Vinted

Because the regime's priorities aren't about climate concerns or taking care of it's citizens. It's about optics; creating a fake legacy of supposed power with stupid ass vanity projects, while the average American struggles for basics like food and housing.

Monarchy is sold to us as tradition. As culture. As harmless pomp and pageantry. But it’s not harmless, it’s a blueprint. It’s the prototype for every hierarchy that tells someone they matter more than someone else.

This is beautifully said. It’s easy to look at the scale of the problem and feel powerless, but every act of courage, truth telling, and solidarity keeps the door open for a better future. “Resistance is why the story is not already over.” Our story is not over!

atheistadam
I'm an Australian watching America, and I need to say this plainly. Stop blaming the people fighting fascism for not defeating it fast enough. The problem is not the Lawyers, judges, journalists, organisers, protesters, voters, teachers, librarians, and public servants still holding the line.
The problem is the billionaires funding the machinery, the media normalising it, the churches blessing it, the politicians exploiting it, and the millions of people who looked at the cruelty and chose it.
Resistance is not failure because it has not won yet. Resistance is why the story is not already over.

One of the most astonishing behaviors exhibited by whales is the upright sleeping posture of sperm whales (*Physeter macrocephalus*): they stand vertically in the water in groups—resembling candles—to rest for 10 to 15 minutes. It is a majestic sight.
