Memories: Found this picture of me and my dad sat in the pub at our wedding. We only got married because of his failing health, and Mrs Gruffy wanted him to walk her down the aisle. He’s greatly missed by us both. Hug your peeps gang. X

I’m doing a water pass with my kamisori knife here, that’s why the only shaving soap is on my beard. There is a bit of colourful ink on display.

We’re back, and I’m not sure how many more trips my beloved old brown suitcase has in it, but it miraculously made it again! Hicks is cuddled up in one of his nests, but I’ll make sure he says hi to you tomorrow.

We saw more hummingbird moths, but they’re a bugger to photograph! We also saw lots of friendly violet carpenter bees which were a lot more chill tbh. #Croatia #BeesAndMoths

I saw a hummingbird moth today! Also met two turtle-doves, watched about twenty house martins drinking from a rooftop swimming pool, and I have a new best friend called Mambo. He’s the lickiest, friendliest little Staffy! Anyway.. Can’t talk, busy.

The other local Croatian meal I always hunt out. Langoustines (scampi) with a red sauce made of tomatoes and peppers. It’s on a white plate overlooking the beach, and there’s a beer obv.

This version comes with spaghetti, but it’s often fries.

Approximately 27 minutes ago, I was a blue haired punk thrashing around on stage, now for some bizarre reason, I’m a 56 year old guy, totally enthralled by a lightning storm over the mountains, marvelling at the colours of the swallows diving around us for cover. #NoDoomThanks

Heavy rain, clouds and lightning fill the sky approaching our hotel. You can see rooftop swimming pools and some of the mountains have disappeared. The sea is a dark blue.
