We (or more accurately @rupenash.bsky.social) installed this water butt 2 weeks ago. Last time I look it had about an inch of water in it -after the intense rain last night it is almost full! Imagine how much 🌊we could keep out our sewer system if every house had one? #climatechange #adaptation

Ross is 💯right here. I see the problems locally from our crisis in the social care workforce: social workers struggling to find the staff to do the work they have assessed as being necessary and which the state stands ready to pay for. Migrants help us all to thrive in so many ways. This is one.
