Finally turned on my gear and made some music today. It wasn't easy. I have a looper and am learning how to do it. I'm also about to leave to house alone for the first time in a week. My partner has gone on walks with me since finding out about my dad.

Deeply recommend getting absolutely brainrotted about a pairing/oc/concept that no one else is making food for so you have to cook for yourself. Not only is making what you want to see deeply rewarding, you will improve and it will not even be on purpose it will just be the inevitable byproduct.

So, on Tuesday I discovered that my father had passed away on Dec. 4, 2024. I checked his profile on a whim. Condolences lined up. I wasn't informed. I spent 4 hours calling and texting those who should know and those I needed to ask support from. I only found out how he died last night. 😮‍💨

Hot take: People get far too up in arms about details in media that can be interpreted poorly by bad people. Instead, we should continue to educate those ignorant people about how their interpretation is wrong and harmful. Rather than calling to censor the material being misinterpreted.

I've always found it funny how much people will work extra hard to come across like they're not judging certain people/ideas/tastes. I can assure you, I totally judge people based on their tastes. I just don't treat them weirdly based on my assumptions. But we're all being judged. All the time.
