Hey folks. In total honesty my tour is NOT selling well. I’ve sold 30 tickets in a 400 seater in Birmingham, and not much more elsewhere. If you like musical comedy, if you like standup, then please come see my show! And spread the word! The Rachel Parris Songbook tour starts in Nov! Link in bio! 🎶

Heads up brummies - cherry reds is being review bombed by fascists as they refused service to some anti-immigrant protestors yesterday. If you’ve ever had a nice drink or meal there then maybe today’s a good day to leave your own review.

This weekend I finally finished the Factory dress by Merchant and Mills. The collar was FIDDLY, and there’s still a couple of little tucks left under it, so don’t look too close. But it’s comfy to wear and will do nicely as a light work dress, so a success. AND IT HAS POCKETS #garmentsewing
A dress hanging on a coat hanger against a golden brown wall. The dress is in sage green linen-look cotton, has a v-neck with a collar, and short, rolled-up sleeves.

The smallish library I volunteer in wants to put up a pride display of books next month but we don't have enough books to put out, let alone enough for people to borrow. Does anyone know of any publishers that have stuff they might donate? Doesn't matter how current or the condition.
