Under Irish law theft and even killing were treated as wrongs done to a person and his family, and the remedy was compensation, normally paid in cattle, which served as currency across most of the Irish countryside.

Researchers at the University of Nottingham used AI to measure play behaviour in dairy calves, harnessing technology to automatically measure a positive welfare indicator. Their model was able to detect that calves play more often when they are in good health and when given access to cow brushes!

An article by "Joe dot ie" on the status of Irish football players that are destined to play a game of football against Israel tomorrow (27th September 2026) Ireland vehemently supports Palestine and as a nation are collectively horrified at the fact that Israel are committing genocide and that they are being pressured to play by UEFA.
