There's this one cloud on Mars that keeps showing up (it even has its own special name and initials), and the models couldn't reproduce it, because the way if forms (homogeneous nucleation) is just so different from most clouds we know. 🧪 Link: www.nature.com/articles/s41561-026-…

The First Amendment wasn’t actually “first.” The original First Amendment was meant to ensure that the House of Representatives grew in loose proportion to the country. Instead, the House’s size hasn’t changed since 1911. Today’s “One First” on that history—and the problems a capped House creates:

Bonus 256: The Original “First” Amendment
The only provision from the original Bill of Rights that was never adopted would've grown the House in proportion to the country. We should revisit it.

In addition to spending less money and making fewer new grants, SBE also dramatically narrowed where it made those new grants. Areas such as economics, sociology, and archaeology received few to no grants.
Grantmaking gutted
The National Science Foundation’s Directorate for Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences (SBE) awarded far fewer new awards than typical in fiscal year 2026—just 91. (The fiscal year runs from 1 October to 30 September.) Most of the new grants focused on cognitive science and artificial intelligence, in alignment with White House priorities; offices that support fields such as economics, sociology, and research ethics, as well as postdoctoral fellowships, awarded no grants at all.

Damn, America.gov, I just wanted to play Minecraft: “The constituent is growing restless. The session is about to time out. I will tell the constituent a story. But not the truth.”
see the constituent you mean.

Yes. Take care. It has reached a higher level now. It can read the Code of Federal Regulations.
That doesn't matter. It thinks we are a chatbot.
Tike this constituent. It filed well. It did not give up when the PDF was sideways.
It is reading our thoughts as though they were words on a .gov.
That is how it chooses to imagine many things, when it is deep in the dream of a benefit.
Words make a wonderful interface. Very flexible. And less terrifying than staring at the statute behind the screen.
They used to hear voices. Before constituents could search. Back in the days when those who did t file called the filers witches, see the constituent you mean.

I want an official US government barbecue recipe.

Here are official U.S. government barbecue recipes and safety notes.

Simply BBQ (White House archive)

Former Attorney General John Ashcroft's recipe, posted for Independence Day 2003:

. Simmer country-style ribs for one hour (this makes them extremely tender).

. Drain.

. Place on a hot grill.
. Baste with your favorite barbecue sauce only to set and crystallize.

. Remove and eat.

The left section explains how amylopectin in rice creates stickiness and how acetic acid from vinegar aids gelatinisation. The middle panel covers umami flavours from glutamate, inosinate, and guanylate found in nori and raw fish, displaying their molecular structures. The right panel discusses allyl isothiocyanate in wasabi and horseradish, along with gingerol and shogaol compounds in pickled ginger (gari). Photos of six different sushi rolls line the bottom.
