Also made horrifying discovery of half a cup of carpet beetles in varying states of death/undeath in vaccuum tube & bag. Re-vacuumed, yeeted sealed bag into trash posthaste. Then I had to fix the carpet head. And do 'Ody peed here' laundry. Now I am sore, overwhelmed, and can't sleep.

Picked up Junie's ashes, brought Leto along to visit the vets & vet techs and thank them again (they saved Leto early this year). Then went and got a tattoo started-- long term project, artist is down to do it piecemeal. Hit scrap exchange for some stuff, then went home and listlessly cleaned.

Always tread with caution and trust your gut, but most of the personal info they want is to classify what type of market demographic they should place you in (some surveys have pre-surveys for this reason, if you are not relevant to their market then they consider it a waste)

It's actually difficult for marketing agencies to get really good information from their audiences-- personal insights, opinions, experiences, etc. Paying people to answer questions is a valid part of budgeting & gives specific psychological info that paying data brokers can't.

It's hard not to feel fed up. I turned my struggles into something to help a young stranger. I was engaging with friends in a way I hadn't been able to in a long time. For one day I let myself not be wary of being happy. It's irrational, but taking my babycat from me in such a way feels cruel.

Junie/Babycat passed an hour or so ago. She had a feline aortic thromboembolism and there is generally no coming back from that. I got home, found her in distress, immediately took her to the emergency vet to get pain meds and as soon as we could, help her pass on. She went gently in my arms.

It's very possible, although I'll also point out that kidney failure is extremely common for adult cats, mostly due to a low drinking drive/chronic dehydration. Japan recently developed an apparently very effective treatment or preventative for it & it is in approval process in the USA, though 🤞
