FRPG Player Tip: Even the most serious games have room for humor and in-character joking, but respect the tone the GM sets for the campaign so you don’t push the humor too far. Being told that the red dragon boss is named “Yrtraazon” versus “Biff” should give you a sense of where the bar’s been set.

The adventure uses Monte Cook Games’ Cypher (2026) rules. Each character represents a trope (Guardian, Brain, Ally, etc.) and their Type changes as they transition from the genre of one dimension to another. With rules to ensure you arrive at the final conflict in a 2, 3 or 4 hour session. 2/2

The Party Caller - Using side based initiative, one player would be responsible for figuring out what each character was going to do and they would tell the DM, who then set the action in motion.

The Mapper would have to draw this, and it was only the map that would clue the players into where secret rooms might be, and they'd need it to safely escape the dungeon.

The Mapper - The DM would describe the scene and one of the players would be responsible for drawing that scene on graph paper to track the party's progress. The DM might say a room "is 40' long, 25' wide, with a 10' x 10' alcove in the North corner and a door in the 20' down the West wall".
