The “protest against the death penalty” that Neo Swee Lin and Lim Kay Siu (and others, including myself) have been charged for was this: we went to court to support a friend who’d been charged. Afterwards, we stood outside the courthouse and someone snapped some photos. Then we left. That’s it.

Mousetrap is on Kickstarter, in prelaunch with Violent Delights. Two companion games in which Shakespeare’s plays meet the Bakers’ mini-games. One game is about forbidden love and defying the systems that forbid it. The other is about being true to thine own self, whoever that may be.

Mousetrap's framework is based on the Bakers' Firebrands. You alternate between mini-games and vignettes — mini-games that depict common interactions between players at the table and scenes that depict your characters in the fictional Castle Muldoon. Until your player and your character swap!

Immerse yourself in the game. Bring your characters to life. Cross the magic circle. Concentric circles. In the outer circle are the titles of mini-games and the Players at the Table. In the inner circle are Muldoon Vignettes and Characters in the Castle.

Doing a pass on Dungeon Losers before the Collaboratory playtest and changed “Braving Risk” to “Overwork” to make it more obvious you’re just trying to do a shitty job.

2-7: Due to your lack of commitment to your work, you fail at your Objective and must suffer the consequences. The DM chooses the lower value die and uses all dice of that value to inflict a cost or consequence based on the established Risk.

You may instead choose to Overwork. If you do so, the DM takes the higher value die to inflict consequences instead. After that, you can then take any lower dice of the same value to determine how well you achieve part of your Objective despite the consequences.

8+: You do the minimum work needed to succeed at your Objective while avoiding the consequences. You choose the lower value die and use all dice of its value to determine how well you achieve your Objective.

You may instead choose to Overwork. If you do so, you take the higher value die to achieve your Objective. After that, the DM can then take any lower dice of the same value to inflict a cost or consequence based on established Risk.

A key component of the Cambridge Analytica outrage was your friends subjecting you to data theft without your consent or knowledge. Facebook is running the same playbook on your text messages. Even if you’re not on Meta properties, they’re ingesting your interactions.

Aten installed Muse on both his iPhone and a Mac mini that he uses to test out various Al agents and tech. It took Meta a single day to begin "helpfully" pitching article ideas based on texts he'd sent to a podcast co-host.
When he asked Muse how it got the information, it said that it read banners from incoming texts. But that's not true, either.
After doing a little digging, Aten says Muse synced 187,000 lines from his Messages database, despite Full Disk Access being Off.

Unless Aten is the most popular person on the face of the planet, I sincerely doubt he'd gotten 187,000 lines of text in roughly 24 hours. What happened is that, without permission, Muse went into the app and downloaded the information.
He had not given Muse permission to access Messages, and full disk access was not enabled. It just went ahead and uploaded those texts anyway.
Muse can take "unexpected actions" indeed.
