Visited The Paper Doe in Las Vegas earlier this week and managed to buy only one bottle of ink. So very , very proud of myself. (Pilot "Rikka" ink.)

Zoiks with the goalie situation! Let's hope that they don't go 3 for 3.

I don't know how these multivaxxers do it without being leveled. (Okay they probably don't have an autoimmune condition.) But yes, so so SO grateful for the science of vaccines. Better to feel meh than to be laid out (or killed) by all the various icks and kruds.

I'm going to second the Uniball Jetstream. I prefer fountain and gel pens, so to me, the Jetstream is the only ballpoint worth using.

I came up with: Hart, Lindbom, Bowman, Connelly, and Howden to clear the cap space, plus two high draft picks to sweeten the deal. The VGK would then run a Helle-Hill goalie tandem. All for the price of gutting the talent pipeline to lock in an older goalie on a long contract. Ha ha ha. NO 10/10

Sequentialkady @sequentialkady.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I ran the thought experiment of who the VGK could trade to WPG to get Helle. When you look at under 30 players who have any value that do not have trade restrictions on their contracts, it gets bleak. 9/

🦣 - Utah - Unlikely, idk I don't see Utah trading Vejmelka at the opening of a window 🐋 - Vancouver - No, Canada, and WAY too ass ⚔️ - Vegas - No, great fit but zero assets 🛩️ - Winnipeg - Hahaha no 🏛️ - Washington - No, Thompson/Lindgren is arguably better 8/

🐙 - Seattle - No, WAY too ass 🦈 - San Jose - No, Askarov and Ned are good together, same thing as a lot of teams where a 33? 34? year old goalie isn't attractive 🎵 - St Louis - No, too ass ⚡ - Tampa Bay - No, Vasilevskiy 🍁 - Toronto - No, Canada, just invested in net, mid 7/

🛡️ - New York - No, not moving Shesterkin 💂 - Ottawa - No, Canada, not moving Ullmark 🍊 - Philadelphia - In theory the pieces are there but I don't think Philly bets the house on Helle when their window is just opening 🐧 - Pittsburgh - No, too ass, no goalie in return 6/

Sequentialkady @sequentialkady.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

🎖️ - Montreal - No, Canada, already have a great young goalie room that I don't think they want to mess with 😈 - New Jersey - Very doubtful, possible, would have to hinge on Yegorov, but Mehta doesn't want to invest heavily in net 🎸 - Nashville - No, too ass 🏝️ - New York - No, not moving Sorokin 5/
