Minnesota transplant. Beard appreciator (moustache envier). I HAD A DOCTORATE IN INDUSTRIAL/ORGANIZATIONAL PSYCHOLOGY BUT ON JULY 1ST 2024 I BARGAINED AWAY MY KNOWLEDGE FOR MADNESS AND A VARIETY OF SILLY COSTUMES AND I HAVE YET TO REGRET THIS EXCHANGE.

For everyone who spent #MeToo fretting “what if this goes too far?”—be of good cheer! It turns out we didn’t go too far at all! It turns out we didn’t nearly far enough! Good job guys!

Not going to lie. It's fucking infuriating seeing all the praise for Klobuchar (rightfully) eviscerating Schmitt... She could have been using that skill this past year and a half, she should have been using it to fight for US, for MN... Instead she voted to confirm Trump's nominees.

Trump was ineligible in '24. Harris was the eligible candidate with the most electoral votes. I'd still love for an independent reporter to ask her about this. Does she honor the 14A Insurrection Clause? Was Jan. 6 an insurrection? If yes to both, doesn't she have a valid claim to power over Trump?

I’m really trying not to go for cheap heat on here but you can write off any politician that does not support trans rights without equivocating because it’s the morally correct thing to do and additionally because it means they’re not above selling anyone out.

I would really love it if every time I used my scooter I didn't also have a near accident with a car driver not paying attention and/or disobeying traffic laws. I am really sick of trying to live in a society where people who don't want to live in a society don't experience consequences.

From the moment in early 2025 that Musk's DOGE kids took over the Institute of Peace *at gunpoint* also—and it became clear that congressmen would not physically intervene for fear of their lives—the ball game was already lost. That some of these DOGE kids were proven neo-Nazis is not unimportant.

You board the bus whose route takes you closest to your destination. If your bus driver is on record for ignoring the route that 90% of the municipality voted for, don't board the bus. If your bus driver insists that driving over minorities is the only way to proceed, don't board the bus.
It's a picture of a red bus, with four white people appearing to be in line. The caption reads:

"Voting is like riding the bus. You aren't waiting for the perfect bus to show up. You ride the bus that takes you the closest to where you want to go."

we've built a society around the delusion that these people have money because they are wise, when really it is actually impossible for them to get rid of it no matter what they do. and the rest of us are just in a dark room surrounded by rakes that take our money any time we take a step.

I just want to build a new society built around a common understanding: If you have more money than you could ever spend and you still want more, you are a fundamentally broken human who needs supportive intervention before you are fit to participate in a healthy, functioning community.
