My heart was broken when I heard he was doing this movie. Yes, I felt betrayed, but also so confused. This is a man who has in his contracts that if he plays a bad guy he has to die horribly. He didn't want kids to idolize him as a villain. Now my heart is broken for him. This is elder abuse.

My 82 year old dad has never heard of Ben Shapiro, I had to explain to him who that is, and what kind of guy he is.

My dad contractuallv can't bad mouth him, the film, or walk awav without being sued for breach of contract. He couldn't even release the statement he wanted to.

It's fucked up. He's handcuffed to this stupid project, and swaths of people have instantly turned their back on him without knowing any of the facts.

Ben Shapiro got Mexicans to abandon one of their heroes, got his own name to the top of google's searches, and made us look like angry fools lacking any nuance. He wins.

I appreciate how fairly you folks have been covering the gubernatorial election compared to other local news outlets. You give the whole story in the headline and in the content. Many will just write whatever they think will get them the most clicks and/or fulfill their political agenda/narrative.

Of all the coverage regarding the KOB "debate" hoopla, this article's headline and content summarizes it best. To me, it shows Haaland is more willing to prioritize reaching out to everyone, including rural communities, across NM. I don't see this as her being a coward. I just see how dumb KOB is.
