More rulesets should have a subtitle listing exactly what kind of game it is and what materials you can use to play with it. I especially like the inclusion of pencil, because the rules do actually insist that you use pencils.

DF legacy fort, except that it's a pen-and-paper underworld. Each participant has like a month or a year to draw/alter levels, possibly simulate/resolve/play out happenings, then it rotates to the next participant. Total creative control not a collage, not for a product, just a game.

Someone should write a blog post about how RPG campaigns are a pretty difficult scheduling project, and that a lot of interpersonal mismatched expectations issues can be solved with better schedule hygiene.

I have a hard time remembering monsters so when keying I will just make up names intending to get around to figuring out what they are later. I never do this, so my keys are full of "Unicorn Eaters" and "Cartilage Masses" and "Solipsism Sand" Woe to the referee (me) who rolls them as an encounter

One nut I desperately want to crack is a OD&D carry-capacity table manner which feels heavy and logistical. In my experience it devolves into handwaving because people understandably don't want to fiddle with re-calculating coin weight on their index card, and it doesn't affect much but speed
