*transfems your sonic* lil fanart based on a generations mod! #sonic #sonicthehedgehog #art #fanart #illust

Artwork of a trans-feminine Sonic the Hedgehog design. You can see her body at a 3/4 view, and she has her right hand raised and pointing to the left. Her left arm and hand is resting at her waist. She's wearing a cropped red-and-yellow vest, and baggy red pants which pile up at the bottom over her shoes.

we had a great 8 years of it being acceptable to be publicly queer but the right tapped into their hysteria and are trying to push us back decades. this is why the left warned of relying on rainbow capitalism because their support was about profit above all else. the solution is for us to not hide

saw someone asking what trans people did to deserve all the vitriol, & nothing actual of course. but transness breaks the rule #1 of the conservative hierarchical worldview, that your position is to a large degree defined by your birth. choosing to put yourself in a different tier is heretical

re-uploading this meme I made now that season 2 of Arcane is over

4 panel image in the style of the Drake meme featuring Jinx reacting positively to a Jynx Pokemon card, but flipping to anger when she sees the attack "Powder Snow" listed on the card

Not to be all “if universal healthcare existed Walter White wouldn’t have cooked meth” but the cost of the circus around Luigi Mangione far exceeds the cost of the care he requires.

Watch out for the “I wish to politely disagree” AI bots, looking to farm engagement. A recent addition to #bluesky. My advice: block on sight.

this is kind of a niche issue but: if you are getting weird and hostile responses that feel a little off, there are some folks on here making accounts that automatically reply to large quantities of posts in a vaguely hostile manner. you can ignore them, and also, it's not personal

i don't know what these are actually *for* but the people who run them are usually posting racist memes and shit too. i don't think you need to be scared of them! but don't let them waste your time.

and also i want to be really clear that if you get this you didn't DO anything to provoke this kind of weird automated behavior, they're really just siccing the bot on everyone and your account happened to come up.

One of the nice things about this platform is that many folks have approached it as a reset. A do-over. Many are trying to turn the temperature down. Sure we could fight with people who are rude or mean or wrong. But even better let’s just brush them off and get on with our lives.

a major problem with bluesky is that i can offhandedly remark "i hate drawing, its too hard" and then a sweet old lady will gently encourage me and kindly point me to some useful resources to get started drawing and i dont know what to do with myself

any trans person who sells out trans kids is a traitor & a coward. attacking life saving healthcare for children in hope of temporary personal comfort is abominable. there is a ring of hell reserved for any quislings willing to feed children to the fascist wolves at our doors. protect trans kids.

I know it's a tad early but I know those bitches with the buckets will be out soon. Don't gove them a penny. The volunteers may not know but the salvation army is no ally and actively combative and harmful to many queer minorities especially during the holiday season

A I age showing a typical collection bucket for the salvation army which is read with a lid holding mechanism on a tripod holder. There is a big stop/do not symbol over the hand depositing money with the words "we don't donate to the Bigot bucket" over the bottom bucket section

shadow generations is a good game i have a lot of gripes with it, plenty that i believe to be substantial, but none of which i would consider to be dealbreakers i haven't cried playing a sonic game since sa2, so there's my endorsement. play the game, you won't regret it

Not all of us were conditioned to get used to rage bait & stress on the hellsite. Some ppl actively want to be miserable & want to make others miserable too because misery is how they thrive, so they create and share the rage bait and stress instead. Thats what ppl who want tension are Reject that.
