We've seen a review of #1st #gen of the Scarpa sole where after 700 miles of wear there was noticeable wear to the sole & the guy predicted he'd get ~1000 miles out of the boot. Hoping feedback from testing & customers has led to improvement in the longevity of the 2nd+ gen of their sole.

Every so often I randomly select a chapter & listen to it again. Its great for company & cognition on a walk. His dulcit tones (Welsh accent) helps. 😁As I lived in Wales for jyst over 6 yrs.

Still laughing at the predictable #hair #fail outcome a few days ago. Fab training 🏊‍♀️ at #Hathersage (alas, not my local pool) to start a daytrip there. Realised no #K18 antifrizz. Spent the rest of the day with frizz+++.
25m, 6 lane outdoor pool in residential area. At pool changeover, so empty.
Overcast sky, but there was a patch of blue sky.

It was a cracking varied day. As was also able to be part of the #graduation procession at the previous Uni I was lecturer at, @edgehill 🚑 Catch up with our students who finished last August & have been working frontline for 9 to 10 months. So fantastic to see them.😁

Managed to get a 🏃‍♀️3.2km run in our #Sports #Rehab suite at work. Before our school away day at our new Med School. If I'd known I'd have access to fab 🚿 at the med sch, I'd have 🏃‍♀️outside.

didn't live in Boulder, CO long enough to experience a wildfire. So, this is only my theoretical based on basic reading CT, where I lived for serveral years was a 🥵 due to humidity > heat for this Brit. 1st summer was brutal. So, do whatever you need to survive! Due🌡29degC on my weekend 🚑 shift

I imagine the threat if fires at any point might also influence the attire folks in the know wear, swirving away from synthetic fabrics that would melt & adhere to skin, causing severe burns... in favour of natural fabrics that apoarently are mote likely to char & adhere less.

Make the roads safer for cycling. My partner & I rode road bikes on the road at least 2 to 3 times a week ontop of other training. Its no longer safe due to motorist behaviour & lack of safer cycle lanes separated from traffic.
