You have to appreciate that all the extra stuff they planned for the 2006 X Collection is only now being re-implemented 20 years later and more...for Star Force of all things at that

'Development

Mega Man X Collection was originally planned to make more changes to its included games. These included: an English retranslation for Mega Man X6, new English dubs for Mega Man X4 and X6 by the Ocean Group (who previously voiced X8 and Command Mission), restoring the original names for the Mega Man X5 Mavericks and fixing localization errors for the game, and arranged soundtracks for Mega Man X and X2 (similar to the PlayStation port of Mega Man X3). However, these changes were scrapped due to Keiji Inafune wanting to save them for the at-the-time upcoming Mega Man: Maverick Hunter X subseries of remakes. Unfortunately, the Maverick Hunter X series never made it past the first installment, leaving the plans scrapped. Despite this, the back of the game's box advertises "...remixed soundtracks, plus much more!", implying that the planned changes were removed late into the collection's development.

When the Mega Man X Legacy Collection released years later, most of the planned changes for this collection were still not applied, save for restoring the original names of the Mavericks and fixing localization errors in Mega Man X5.'

Many games for the GameCube use only a fraction of the storage capacity of the disc. I have analyzed the data to determine what the maximum number of retail Mario games that can fit on a single disc would be, creating the Luigi & Wario + Puzzle + Rhythm Maximum Value Pack.

$A GameCube disc has a storage capacity of 1.46 gigabytes. Many Mario games use only a fraction of that storage. Below is the optimal distribution of the smallest Mario-related games on the system to fit 6 entire retail games on a single disc.
