If we wait for the "previously referred to as far right by the Daily Mail" party to go away, we may be waiting a long time.

We will never 'solve' the far-right issue, surely? We'd be waiting a long time. Just like Brexiters waiting for the 'right/full/proper' Brexit?

Putin has not funded disruption and chaos across Europe and the UK solely to weaken his enemies. He also knows that disruption and chaos favour the far right. And the far right loves Putin. It will abandon Ukraine and build him a highway into Europe.

This is quite extraordinary. I don't think I have heard a more coherent, articulate and accurate deconstruction & demolition of Nigel Farage's ReformUK, Tory & Restore policy than this. In under 85 seconds! @rafaelbehr.bsky.social is on here folks and worth a follow.

Ah yes, perhaps the most beloved literary trope of all: the classic McMuffin
A screenshot that reads: Moore throws in a Hitchcock-style McMuffin in the shape of a secret tape recording which will reveal just who has been betraying the gangsters.
The problem is that no-one has a machine on which to play it.

40% of *everything being shipped everywhere on Earth* is fossil fuels Just an absolute laughing-stock clown-show of an energy source. This is laughably absurd, why do we treat this like it's normal and good Fossil fuels are a satirical fuel www.irena.org/-/media/File...
Global shipping transports fossil fuels and runs on oil: 40% of shipped products are fossil fuels or derivatives, while 99% of international shipping’s energy demand is met by oil-based fuels.

Enjoying the various pre-conference think pieces on how Badenoch is doing great that largely fail to mention how her response to a summer of climate and fossil fuel crises has been to pretend you can tackle climate change without getting to net zero and lobby for increased fossil fuel reliance.

It is shown, repeatedly, that the inevitable outcome of pandering to "populists" is they want more. You can never go far enough. Mahmood's proposals are the most draconian reforms of immigration and asylum systems in decades. They undermine international human rights. Still not enough for this lot.
