Haven't been online for a good while because mental health and I will probably continue being off for a while, but I tried to follow some of you new followers back. Take care people and remember, social media can really damage your mental health and taking breaks is totally fine!

ALERT! It's that time of year again where there are meds that make you more prone to overheating (and more), which people aren't aware of. Many anti-depressants and anti-psychotics, as well as meds unrelated to mental health medicines, impair your response to heat.

Q: If you were to perhaps set David Tennant on fire, would you consider doing the same to Michael Sheen?

Neil: Michael Sheen is a very respected Welsh actor. The very idea of setting him ablaze is deeply wrong.

My sister illustrated her cat’s adventures with an IKEA bag earlier today

two small illustrations of a black cat in an IKEA bag. the first illustration shows the bag mostly closed with the cat’s head (and giant round yellow eyes) sticking out. In the second illustration the cat is rather ungracefully falling out of the bag, limbs in every direction

Dolly Parton has done such unquestionable good on this Earth that if tomorrow she requested a one-woman Purge holiday, I'd support the request. Yes, even if she came for me.

Agreed. I think the Cinematic Univerisification of every property has done real harm to storytelling in the big screen and I'm ready for the next phase: Don't build me a world, build me a *folklore*. A *mythos*. Like the cults of ancient Greece, tell me a hundred conflicting stories true in spirit.

I need a certain sector of folks to understand something super important: Most of us don't wake up each day hoping to meet new people and argue with them. Many of us don't even enjoy arguing with people we know and love. If you come on social media to debate, expect many people to want to avoid you.

Also: let it be known that I *love* when artists share not only their work on social media but some insight into how they made it or what their thought process was. This is something AI cannot do, and it helps communicate the humanity of your artistry. Write me a paragraph. I'll read it!

The power of languages. I can take an English word and use it in a Swedish sentence, by just making it make sense grammatically. Just did with the word "clean" by changing it to "cleana", and boom, it works. That is the true power of speaking multiple languages.

Went on a local radio today (now for a third time) to talk about the result of the vote on a new gender identity law. NERVE-WRACKING. BUT the result was a great win for the Swedish trans community & I'm happy I got to talk about something positive 🎉 234 voting yes and 94 voting no, is HUGE!
