I wrote a murder mystery for a dinner party with friends and designed postcard invitations for each of them. Each have a little character background for them so they can cobble together a costume. They'll receive more details when they arrive at the party. I haven't designed those cards yet.

My chronic illness is degenerative. I got to the point where I simply couldn't fake being well anymore. It's still difficult because I don't need a cane all the time. Only if I am going to be up and about all day, or if I have a flare up. Perimenopause didn't give me a choice about ADHD either.

HOLY HELL! Just got to a part in Zero Company that made my stomach drop and yell, "Nooo!" at the screen. That was an amazing gut punch. This game, right here, is why I love video games. So. Fucking. Good. If you wrote for this game, well done. Brava. Disney, take note. This is what SW should be.

My Rage Against the Machine/Les Mis mashup is complete. This is my interpretation of the quilt guild’s summer challenge “quilt with your interpretation and/or feelings towards our current ‘democracy’” all hand stitched.

Quilt hanging on a card catalog. Neutral background with navy cursive appliqué “Do you hear thr people sing?” The background is embroidered in red starting light and getting bolder the lyrics to “killing in the name” the quilting effect is a focused sunburst from the center.

This is my I am still sick, but kinda better so back to work look. But I am pleased that my hair is long enough to pile on top of my head now. Growing out a 'hawk is a lot. Lol This has taken a few years.

Super Mario Bros on NES is what made me a gamer. There's a picture of me on Christmas morning as a kid, in my She-ra nightgown, hugging a large present excitedly because I just knew was an NES. It came with Super Mario & Dunk Hunt But I will say that KOTOR hit all the right things many years later.

Playing the dlc to pillars of eternity 2 and there is an asset overlap. I need to interact with the spirit (the pink/purple thing) but it is prioritizing the blue thing which changes the water levels. I can't get it to register the spirit at all, no matter what angle I try to approach it from.

Today has been a bit of a day for personal reasons. But! It is ending with a friend's 50th birthday party at the banquet hall in the Legion. Being in this space brings me back to family events at the Legion or Knights of Columbus back in the 80s and 90s. This is a trip.

Went to my first dance class in 25 years. Jazz funk. We had to dance and strut solo while maintaining eye contact with the instructor and my god, that was ridiculously embarrassing. LOL I was a mess. But I had fun! Looking forward to next week.

Woke up really early today because I had a nightmare. I dreamt that I moved into a cool lighthouse, but the main floor was used for MtG tournaments and I was stuck with a bunch of MtG players in my house. I woke up with stress sweats.

I finished way ahead of schedule, which is great! I had so many issues physically with my shoulder, arm, & out of control auto immune disease for quite some time. It's really nice to be able to move around again. I need a cane on bad days, but that's fine. I can get around & that's what matters.

I've gotten to the point, after tearing my rotator cuff in two spots along my bicep tendon, where I can support my body weight in a plank, touch my forehead on the ground in child pose, and reach over my head. I started strength training again and I'm excited but omg, I didn't miss glute DOMS. 😭

I got a new mop and bucket and my goodness... this is one of the worst wringer designs I have ever experienced. It's essentially just a salad spinner and it's just as useless as one, too. It does not get rid of excess water at all. I'm actually quite angry about this. What a waste of money.

Just dyeing my hair red before work... Haven't dyed my hair in years now. Let it all grow out starting a few years ago. I've been itching for a hair change, but I want to continue growing it, so dye it was, otherwise I'd chop it all off again.
