Okay ive already learned amigurumi crochet in the last 2 years. How hard would it be to learn to knit socks next? How long does a sock (single) take to complete? Are socks a good beginner project? These are just too cute. Am I going to pick up another fiber art???

Well the joke used to be that "the computer animated it" or we just pushed "the animate button" .... but with AI now I guess the illusion that is true is even more compelling.

110

Salarez to be 💝 Married 💝 @salarez.bsky.social · 10h

Ive had similar conversations about game animation which feels even more ridiculous if only because thats the biggest things players see all the time. The animated actions of their characters!!! Me: I animate video games. Them: huh??? Me: Everything that moves is designed by a person like me.

150

Salarez to be 💝 Married 💝 @salarez.bsky.social · 10h

Similar response as an animator. Dr. Asked if I had an opinion on all this and I was like "well CEOs think they can do my job by harvesting every animation made in 100 years of the art form existing, so I think its a theft machine." His eyes boogled and he was like 'wait what'. Some... dont know.

Warning. If you decide that youre going to play a werewolf in DnD half a decade ago but swear up and down that its not a furry thing, you may find yourself designing dog armor. He may be a maned wolf but he's still a knight! Booof!!

Sketches of a maned wolf with large tusks. Action pose jumping down and swinging the back legs around. A crown of stars adorns its head. A puppy giving big stretch. And a sketch of the dog armor desigb. It has a skull like helmet a cape and various other loosely designed gauntles and 'boots'.

A grumpy Kieran Dorn standing in front of the door to his captains quarters. He wears a red gambeson and a coif. He says "Feeling daring today arent we?" to the viewer.

So Mitch McConnel and all the other old geriatric fucks get free health care and paid while being fucking brain dead, but giving birth as a member of congress is a step too far! No money for weak willed woooomaaaan. Baby make her brain mushy. She might drop the nukes on her period!!! Aaaaah scary! 🤪

www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026... Why arent there more women in congress? "Members of Congress do not get paid parental leave, McIver noted in her announcement, adding that she plans to return to voting in November after taking October to heal and spend time with her new baby." Oh! :D

This is a good articulation of why I despised that article going around the other day. I dont know how we can use the words rehabilitative justice in regards to a man that raped a woman in college. College is the only place these women dont even get to report their rape to real cops! What justice?

TLDR: Believe women. Believe us when we talk about horrific things that you see circulating in the news, but also believe us when we talk about our discoveries, our science, our interests, our understanding, our experience, our work. The world is quite literally better for everyone when you do.

No shotguns, just opera glasses. One of the most influential ornithologists of all time, yet few know her.

By the time i woke him up at 6am to get to urgent care his hand had basically doubled in size. Tetanus shot, antibiotics shot, and so much disinfectant. @_@ The sweet part. Phil was So concerned about Sean after he passed out. Both of the cats were petrified and as soon as he came too it was sweet

010

Salarez to be 💝 Married 💝 @salarez.bsky.social · 04/10/2026

It was Baaaaaaaaad. Phil was fine! He limped for about 5 minutes after but at that point in time I was dealing with my fiance passing out at the sight of his own blood. It was an absolute crisis and then his recovery sucked. Cat wounds are horrible. Couldnt get him to urgent care cuz it was 11pm.

a series of five illustrations of a chien-pao character in various poses. in the top left, she is sitting politely with a sparkle in her eye. in the top right, she is laying on her back with her hair sprawled out and her paws held up. in the center right, she has melted into a small pile of slush with a wagging tail and a peaceful, relaxed expression. in the bottom left, she is stretching out her back. finally, the bottom right is rendered in a very simple, silly style.
