this is the last weekend of my art show with @shirleywu.studio! we used ceramics, beads, and data from the Japan Meteorological Agency to capture the dates of sakura blooms and ginkgo and maple leaf color changes over the last seven decades. 🌸🍁🍃 luma.com/calendar/cal...

it's so hard to run a small business in the age of enshittification. products come back from the manufacturer with quality issues. work done on the shop is done incorrectly the first time. even if i'm not paying for it to be redone (i often am) i'm paying with my time and mental energy

over time, i've learned to let bad things happen to my characters and trust that they'll (and i'll) figure out how to handle them! and i've learned to let the plot get weird! i also think i've learned to be better at putting information in the plot and dialogue instead of infodumping!
