They outright say they're not incorporating genAI assets. This very much reads as them just labeling other shit as AI to appease shareholders. Could they be lying and still veer into generative AI assets? Yeah, and if so, fuck me I guess, but for the moment they say it right there.

"We will not implement assets generated by AI into our games." Capcom said in a March 2026 shareholders meeting. "However, we plan to proactively use it as a contributing technology to improve the efficiency and productivity of the game development process. To this end, we are currently exploring ways to implement it in various areas, including graphics, sound and programming."

Took the time and updated my motherboard BIOS which hadn't been updated in almost 4 years and DDU'd my Nvidia drivers and it fixed the issue I've been having since January 2025 where I couldn't watch YouTube videos in fullscreen or in 1080p quality or above without my monitor going completely black.

Whever I see people talk about SAC, I see them be like "they took out 'this guy are sick' it has no soul." Fucker I made an option for that. Look at the mod options. I went really far out of my way to accommodate you specifically.

Mod configuration setting for the Shinra Archaeology Cut mod for Final Fantasy VII that gives to option for the player to restore the infamous "this guy are sick" line, among other memorable weird lines from the original translation.

Still enjoying Control Resonant. The combat is very flashy and you get into a rhythm of building up Falter on grunts and then executing them to get temporary buffs so the larger enemies can be more easily dealt with.

Work today wasn't as rough as usual so I got to relax and play about 3 hours of Control Resonant. Feels like the first Control but as a melee action game. I haven't got to unlock a lot of combat options yet but the game gives you double jump, air dashing, and levitation right from the start.
