Many people are calling Trump's $5,000 promise a bribe. The Supreme Court has already decided this one. As long as the service performed occurs before money changes hands -- electing a Republican Congress in this case -- it's perfectly legal. It's not a bribe, it's a gratuity.

Please remember Silverio Villegas Gonzalez, murdered by ICE in Chicago in September 2025 after dropping his children off at school and day care. Local officials won't investigate even though evidence contradicts ICE claims that Silvererio hit an ICE agent with his car.
