There is no clearer case for the necessity of Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 than how quickly southern states moved to eliminate Black-majority districts and dilute Black power after SCOTUS eroded Section 2. SCOTUS’s reasoning was immediately disproven by reality.

I will never get rid of my CDs or vinyl. I even have some old cassettes of my college radio shows that I will never part with. For me, having something to hold in my hands and put into a machine is part of the experience. Reading liner notes, looking at album art and other pics. Priceless.
