Bij voorbaat was het de opzet van VWS om LongCovid niet of nauwelijks te erkennen. Een deel van de patiënten liep Covid op door verplichtingen op hun werk. Voor hen is LongCovid dus een beroepsziekte. Dat gaat geld kosten. De opstelling van VWS is walgelijk. Minister na minister. Bah.

that is why you should never take medicine advice from "just a guy" on the internet but discuss this with a and/or a doctor. my doctor(s) explained to me that if I want to take anything against the pain, paracetamol and ibuprofen does te least damage (and you won't get addicted to it). good luck

I alternate the painkillers and there is at least 4 hours between each time I take them. I start with paracetamol

I take 3 times a day paracetamol (2x500mg) and twice a day ibuprofen (400mg) for 3 years now (under supervision of doctors). It helps and it keeps helping. Don't be afraid to take painkillers but do discuss it with youe doctor and keep below the treshold of 'to much'

I hear you. (I needed to look up ADL for I was not familiar with that acronym). ADL comes for joy for me as well. Things need to be cleaned, and we still got to eat (healthy --> so we cook). You cant skimp much and when I do I feel guilty I chose a hobby over something 'that needed to be done' /meh

I read your thread, all of it. I feel for you. Doing the best you can, and it is not enough for him and to much for you. The only advice I dare give you is this. You can't do it alone (anymore). Seek help, friends family and above all professional help. In the US prof help could be to expensive 😔

When there is a cure (of some sorts) I personally don't think it will come in time for us long haulers (4 years for me). There is to much damage done to the body for any medicine to fix. Perhaps they will find something to make some symptoms less worse.
