Wouldn't it be cool to add a graphic to make people think the loop is the program actually thinking? Yes. What if we put a bunch of stuff together and it worked and we don't know how and we're saying it's a danger because we built a self-replicating ever evolving computer virus? No.

You work with databases. You have to query the database. Wouldn't it be easier to write a program that can use laymen's terms to query a humongous ever expanding database? Yes. Would it be cool if it was also a worm that rearranges things on your computer? Yes. It's a virus on a loop.

I was watching a doc on Woodstock '99 the other day and it clicked that the mentality of that crowd is the mentality of a lot of people in this country right now. No reflection of "what did we just do" more "everyone else made us do it because they wouldn't cater to our every whim of the moment"

I got on a kick about this a few days ago. A lot of people who worked for companies or institutions that helped build Stuxnet are in the industry now. Plus, the more I think about how Cowork and the like works, the more I'm reminded of viruses and software patches through torrents and the like.

Came home from work and almost called out for the dog. Losing Bella was harder than I'd ever thought.

This was my dog when we first got her, I can't believe she was smaller than one of my cat Shirley. Shirley is still with us, Bella sadly passed away on Saturday, and it still hurts.

I will say this, We do need more free services that push other talking points besides right-wing extremism. Most of the free news services lean right. I don't know if that plays into the right-wing push, but if X and free news are aligning in messaging, that's a huge problem.
