You work with databases. You have to query the database. Wouldn't it be easier to write a program that can use laymen's terms to query a humongous ever expanding database? Yes. Would it be cool if it was also a worm that rearranges things on your computer? Yes. It's a virus on a loop.

I was watching a doc on Woodstock '99 the other day and it clicked that the mentality of that crowd is the mentality of a lot of people in this country right now. No reflection of "what did we just do" more "everyone else made us do it because they wouldn't cater to our every whim of the moment"

I got on a kick about this a few days ago. A lot of people who worked for companies or institutions that helped build Stuxnet are in the industry now. Plus, the more I think about how Cowork and the like works, the more I'm reminded of viruses and software patches through torrents and the like.

They borrow against the investment and keep moving the money around. If you're borrowing against your investments then you should pay taxes and they should redefine those loans to be taxed, it's a BS loophole. Loans are not considered income for these purposes.

Until robotics catches up, most jobs that could lose to AI are any job that can be automated by an AI agent. There may be autonomous trucks and loaders and unloaders from the trucks from the automated distribution centers, but people won't want to see robots stocking shelves during the day.
