Doing canopy frames the hard way. Decal strips were no option, as the vacuform hood has irregularly embossed detail. Painting that over helps hiding it. First the vertical, then the horizontal frames. The windshield curvature will be tricky, I‘ll tackle that last. #histscalemodels #72scale

Masks came off the Super King Air 350. I have cut out the complete window belt and replaced it with a strip of clear plastic scavenged from the curved section of a Ferrero Rocher box (yummy…) The masks provided with this A&A kit worked fine. #histscalemodels #72scale

For me, one of the big draws of the SwAF's Centenary Show was the chance to see, for only my second time, the unique looking Saab J29 Tunnan, I first saw the 'flying barrel' over 13 years ago at the Waddington Airshow and I'd been wanting to see it again for many years!

Some final touch ups to areas where I goofed. Found that alternating colors of primer coats provide a means of control on how deep the sanding stick is going in. Yes, that‘s pink! And I think I‘ll switch from Tamiya to Pro-color for the fifth and hopefully final coat of white for the King Air.
