I love how they expanded on the story in this game.

vox was like "we should put something in front of the Scrabble board so it doesn't fall over" and i was like "way ahead of you"

A boxed deluxe edition Scrabble board from the year 2002 leans precariously against the wall. A weather-damaged statuette of Goku from Dragon Ball holds it up with an outstretched muscular arm.

I can't take this anymore! *raises hand to snap fingers that activates sKill 3 which drops a meteor on your dumb ass that lands one stun and two burn debuffs that does devastating damage on your next turn, killing you violently on your turn*

I’m tired of games with NPCs with full government names. We need to bring back NPC names like “Weird But Prophetic Old Man” or “Guard Who Puts His Life On The Line.”

Finally returning to one of my earliest JRPGs from my youth with the intent of finishing it! And wow is this game so much goofier than I remembered!

Shoutout to Sonic CD having one of the hardest trolley problems in gaming: Good Future with a great OST. Bad Future with the bangerest OST.

A cropped photo of a CRT TV, showing the icon described in the post. The small 3D model is a cheerful Cassandra dressed as she is in the game, a short blue and white tunic with a matching sword and small shield.

31. VA-11 Hall-A Atmosphere and vibes are immaculate and that OST is phenomenal! I really enjoyed the cast in this game and my only complaint is that it's all over so fast. Wait, you mean I already spent 11 hours with it? I could've sworn it was like 2...

30. Mina the Hollower Phenomenal game! I played it as if I were a Belmont and easily my favorite game of the year so far. Septemburg rules. I should really give more 2D Zelda games a shot if they're anywhere similar to this.

I will gladly sink 70 hours into a spinoff game just to point at the screen and go “I UNDERSTAND THIS REFERENCE.” A reference that’s literally just a single throwaway line.

It’s definitely an unpolished game. I kept clipping through the earth and landing underground in Delfino Plaza near one of the pipes. 😅 Admittedly, I find a lot of its quirks endearing. Definitely took me a while to get used to its controls. I overshot a lot of my jumps early on!

29. Super Mario Sunshine My second 3D Mario game! I really enjoyed how much harder it was than Odyssey. There’s some rough edges, and I’m sure would become more apparent if I went for the 100%. Really cool game! One day I’ll go back and beat pachinko...

tired of the "#1 dad" nonsense. if you're a dad, stop treating it like a joke and post your actual national dad ranking. i'm # 492,018, which is actually really high up there, but more importantly it lets me enter ranked dad lobbies where i can get matched up for fistfights with dads of my caliber
