30. Mina the Hollower Phenomenal game! I played it as if I were a Belmont and easily my favorite game of the year so far. Septemburg rules. I should really give more 2D Zelda games a shot if they're anywhere similar to this.

29. Super Mario Sunshine My second 3D Mario game! I really enjoyed how much harder it was than Odyssey. There’s some rough edges, and I’m sure would become more apparent if I went for the 100%. Really cool game! One day I’ll go back and beat pachinko...

28. Mega Man 6 It’s pretty neat! I liked the different paths and shortcuts you could take through the levels. I was surprised I managed to beat it as fast as did! That being said, Blizzard Man’s stage for some reason was the hardest part for me… that last room really messed me up. 😅

26. DAN DA DAN S2 Manga reader here! I honestly forgot about this arc so it was a nice refresher! When S1 ended, I wasn’t really in a rush for S2. After all, the pacing has been pretty good from and S3 seemed like it would be the best time for Space Globalists. Anyways, S3 is gonna be peak!

25. Magical Princess Very cute raising sim! Had a lot of fun getting all the professions and finding increasing silly ways to optimize my time. The most baffling thing about it is it being $15 USD full price. This could’ve been a lot more for the quality here!

24. Celeste Finally gotten around to this game! This game means a lot to several friends of mine, and I was worried I wasn't going to like as I'm not a platformer guy, but wow did this game have a grip on me. I never really found myself frustrated (Ch3 isn't real) on the way to the summit! Peak.

23. Napple Tale: Arsia in Daydream If you're a fan of Klonoa, give this game a shot! The vibes, OST, and story are right at home. It's delightfully silly at times, with a really beautiful moment near the end. This just solidifies that we really need more platformers with this kind of feel, imo!

22. The Magic Circle This was interesting! Very meta game and a fairly short one at that. I think my favorite part was hearing a lot of familiar VAs. (Try not to hear what you know them from, it's really hard!) Neat game, though.

21. Freedom Planet Friend recommended this one and I honestly really enjoyed it! The VA was a nice surprise, and the OST is full of bangers. Some of those later bosses are pretty brutal though! It also reminds me that I should actually play a sonic game for more than an hour… 😅

13. Game you've played more than five times. FF5 mainly due to the Four Job Fiesta. It's always a fun challenge and really makes you appreciate the design of FF5 a lot more. I've learned a lot about this game thanks to it and, as always, looking forward to running in June!

10. Best Gameplay. Romancing SaGa 2, my beloved! This game gave me incurable SaGa brainrot and I couldn't be any happier. I love the nonlinear approach it has on top of the customization with how you build your characters. Not to mention the inheritance system is awesome!

20. Animorphs: Shattered Reality I don't know the IP at all; I only played it on Twitch as a redeem. It's jank, fundamentally broken, and short to the point to where I'm going to question if this game was even real to begin with within a week. This skeet serves as a painful reminder of that day. 😔

19. Chocobo’s Mysterious Dungeon It’s not my fav mystery dungeon game. The ATB system is easy to abuse, cratering the difficulty in most scenarios. It’s flawed, but that’s fine. The game is honestly very chill and relaxing for me. The OST is great and the RA set is a chill grind.

17. Spyro the Dragon Decided to replay the OG because it’s been like 2 decades since I last played it! Not gonna lie, I’m used to Spyro 3 so I kept attempting jumps that weren’t going to be possible. Also the dodge roll is funny, they should’ve kept it in the sequels.

16. King's Field: The Ancient City It's one of those games where you turn off the lights, maybe grab a blanket and immerse yourself into the world. It oozes so much atmosphere to the point to where it should probably see a doctor. It's my first KF game and the OST is phenomenal.

15. The Final Fantasy Legend This game is so goofy. It’s short, replayable, and the setting is really neat. Like just look at the art, guy in fantasy armor with a rocket launcher??? This game is a hot mess, extremely buggy and softlockable, but there’s a joy to be had breaking it. It’s awesome.

14. GoldenEye007 Played multiplayer once with my cousins when I was little and it was nice going back and seeing it. My only issue is how often Natalya walks in front of your gun and Control being a bit of a wall for me for a few hours. Also controls surprisingly well on the N64 controller!

13. Gitaroo Man Not really one for rhythm games, but I felt like I owed it to myself to play it given how much many times I listened to the OST. Game is hard, but honestly really fun! Super rewarding to beat each song and final boss had me shaking at the end. Two hours well spent!

12. Psychonauts 2 I really enjoyed this one! Everything I could want out of a sequel and then some. I had hard time if I preferred it over the first game or not with this one edging slightly over it just for the sheer QoL with the platforming. (I liked the humor in 1 more though!)

11. Izuna 1 It’s decent. The talismans were pretty neat and it feels nice to slap a bunch of talismans on your arm and barely take damage. On the other hand lanterns in this game are quite literally the worst thing ever. I don’t regret my time with it. Maybe one day I’ll try the extra dungeon.

Egg Thief in Molten Crater in Spyro 3. I’m stuck on this and I ask my mom for help after chores. She also gets stumped, so then my dad decides to join and gets stuck. We pass the controller around for hours before I catch it. We all victory screech. And then the turbocharged egg thief shows up. 🤣

Here’s some of my favs from the PS2! The PS2’s library is filled with so much soul and I never grow tired playing games on it. There’s so much variety, too! Feels like everyone has their special PS2 game they love to death. It’s so good. The only con for PS2 is the RSOD giving me nightmares. Lol

10. Helen's Mysterious Castle A really cute RPGMaker game! The combat system is really simple, almost like Dragon Quest 1 with its 1v1 fights. However, the Wait mechanic really kept it fresh. It's cheap, and short, and ultimately, really sweet. Only con is that now I crave steak. 😅
