Boy howdy, do I, a trans woman, have some thoughts about how the gender revolution put a lot more emphasis on letting girls do boy stuff, and almost none on letting boys do girl stuff, which if anything reinforced the idea that girl stuff is inferior if not shameful.

Finally getting around to playing bg3. Here's my Tav, Fa'zin. They're a ranger, not really sure of their place in the world/on this plane yet but they're trying. A lot of sucking up to Lae'zel and going along with her Gith tendencies lol #bg3 #tav #githyanki #ranger

A cropped in screenshot of the character creator in baldur's gate 3, showing the face of a githyanki player character, Fa'zin. They have pale green skin with black spots around the eyes and temples. Their ears and long and pointed, and their nose is small and upturned. Their narrow eyes are green and amber, their green eye having a swirling smoke-like dark green tattoo spreading from it, down the neck and up around the back of the head. They have some scars, looking like cracks across their nose bridge and on their throat. Their dark brown hair is pulled into a high ponytail braid.

I love rereading a book that I haven't read in a long time. Especially ones I've only read once, years ago. It's nice to have things feel familiar as I get to them, but not be sure where things are going, how things will turn out in the end

Wow whaddya know I'm making a new elf character. Her name is Miriam, she goes by Miri. Any pronouns, leans towards she/her most though. Shy nerdy girl, loves books #ocart

Full body sketch of an elf. She's tilting her head and adjusting her large round glasses. She has a slightly worried expression, her large eyes looking off to her right, with a small frown. She's blushing, obscuring her freckles (due to the textures blending together in the pencil.) She's wearing a turtleneck sweater and a knee length plaid skirt with a wide flat waistband. Underneath is her laced up boots with lacy socks peeking out. She's holding a book in front of her. Her hair is half up, in 2 buns at the top of her head. The rest flows in loose waves down to her waist.

Character design rough idea, The Queen, mother of one of my main OC's #ocart #elfqueen

A digital colored sketch of an elf woman. She's wearing a flowing, loose green dress with a gold corset at the waist. Her hair is fiery orange, wavy, and falls below the bottom of the corset in length. She has full heterochromia, blue and green. She has a gold laurel-like crown and is wearing a few gold earrings in the pointed ear that is poking out of her hair. She has a few visible age lines on her face and neck, and a smattering of freckles on her face and the backs of her hands

"They say I died a virgin, but then they say every martyred woman was a virgin. I want" From 'The Vanishing Song'

Patron Saint of Violets // I Want

From 'The Vanishing Song' By Jay Hulme

They say I died a virgin, but
then they say every martyred
woman was a virgin. I want
to tell them how wrong the
hagiographies have me - to
call up the Vatican and list
every woman I loved. I want
to tell them how, one night,
we went out into the desert;
how mouth touched skin in
the cooling air, and we cried,
Oh, God! like saints at prayer.

(Midwest American) important type of vest I don't think I saw mentioned anywhere in the replies. Those tiny vests everyone wore over their tshirts or whatever in the 00s/early 10s, usually seen as a little hipstery, not quite the same as what everyone is calling a waistcoat

Hi, veterinary professional here! I agree that it's dangerous for cats to smoke human-sized cigarettes due to their small lungs. You'd be better off smoking cat-sized cigarettes or, even better, using chew or dip. This can be portioned to the appropriate size & does not affect the lungs.
