Even though I would have gladly slept my body and mind were incapable of it. In my satchel was a flask of vodka I took a long pull from. I may as well have stayed sober for all the good it did, which is a sentence I’d never thought before and hope to never think again.

"AI that fucks up all the time" is kind of the perfect product for a military who is - according to the press - largely "stumbling," "sliding" or being "drawn into war." A war machine that is never driving the bus, always the object of forces surrounding it.

Saw Resident Evil a bit ago! It was good. I think it accomplishes the majority of what it seems like Cregger wanted to do. It does feel like the most faithful movie to the games, despite having no overlap in characters and some other misc differences. Glad I saw it. However (very minor spoilers...)
