Thames Water CEO went unchallenged on the BBC on the claim that public ownership means water investment competes with health and defence. This is a myth! 99% of water investment comes from BILLS. Take 2 mins to complain to Ofcom and the BBC vist.ly/5d5xb

This is surely the most lacklustre and sad kiddy ride in the UK. Costs 2 quid as well. Can anyone beat this for drabness?
A children's ride in the foyer of a shopping centre. It is a waltzer machine but the colours are drab, there are no cartoon characters and it looks rather depressing.

Now THIS is how you do production and funding credits at the start of a movie. Not an endless parade of promotional snippets for companies we've never hear heard of. Just a list, on one frame. (From Celine and Julie Go Boating)

A black sign for a Side Entrance on the corner of an alleyway in Central London has been amended to read 'Side Trance'. Above this is a religious poster saying 'know the truth'.

Inside the hall there were stages on most levels that had no performers and if there was a schedule I don't know how we were meant to learn it. Instead there was lots of queueing, which is British at least, and the DJs at eye-twitching volume

I love this dorky limestone lion at the Ashmolean in Oxford. Such a happy big cat.

I know there are more important things, and I am at risk of sounding like an unhinged Daily Telegraph columnist - but this new wrapping paper packaging SUCKS so bad. Even though it says there's extra paper, you'll inevitably tear ACRES of it. 'Just peel here' is a LIE. I feel better now.
