@wsib.bsky.social The Historic Trade Off was the first social program in Canada, so says the Supreme Court, in multiple rulings. Not an insurance company you think it is. You pay compensation for a workplace injury or illness over the life of the worker instead of a lump payment.

Start having your agency the WSIB following the law under which they operate. And loose the attitude that IW's are faking

I'm an injured worker. I do not have the same Rights and Freedoms as everyone else. I am also not entitled to the very agreement that is meant to protect the public purse. About 25,000 of workers in Ontario will find that out in 2025.

I have a story. A particular government agency, a branch of the Ontario Ministry of Labour, owes me money. A lot of it. When I asked about getting that money they sent a letter - not the money - telling me not to communicate with them for 2 years.
