It’s for trans men/boys who are unable to access transition for whatever reason. Financial, safety, etc. There isn’t anything wrong with the messaging. Besides, social transition is usually the first step toward medical transition anyway. Trans people deserve support on all steps of the journey.

The premise of the intro (for a game and series that is about digital assistants who at times go berserk and fuck up whole computer systems) was to directly make fun of the bizarre and factually wrong text it generated, and the portrayal of it (including showing it on-screen) was decidedly negative.

3. I used ChatGPT to generate an intro script for Mega Man Star Force 3 to intentionally take the piss out of its stilted language and the idea of overreliance on / being trapped by artificial intelligence (something that happens throughout the Battle Network and Star Force series) later in 2023.

Ironically, the fact that it's predictive text (which one could consider an early form of ML/LLM/AI) feels like the lesser of two reasons it's aged badly. 2. I discovered recently that the Blu-ray of Creating Rem Lezar, which we used for a D-Pad + Chill commentary video in 2023, was AI upscaled.

The D-Pad features exactly three uses of AI (that I'm aware of): 1. We read out Botnik Studios' predictive text-generated Harry Potter book segments for an episode of Super Mario RPG in 2017. Allegedly, the text was generated by feeding the Harry Potter books into a predictive text algorithm.
