was bidding on a rare item; went to make a bid in the last 30 seconds and was greeted with a security dialog that wasn't there on my previous bid that required me to enter my full credit card info... ended up losing the bid to that really fucking annoying, doubt this item will appear again soon

I often see recomps advertise 'native performance'. esp with wave of the slop AI recomps. Verbatim ASM -> C translation is actually quite poor from my experience. Around 25-50% of native, depending on arch. CPU register flags+stack emulation is expensive! Lot of headroom.

does anyone out there have an LG BP71N optical drive? I want to check a few things for OmniDrive/flashing support but this drive in particular seems to be pretty uncommon and only really available in Logitec (Japan) and Ugreen (China) repackagings.

If you see an increase in cancer diagnosis you don’t impose a wait limit on time it takes people to get assessed. You employ more cancer specialists. People are going after a disability because it’s an easy target. This is state sanctioned suffering, abuse and neglect.

Dreamed YouTube kept playing audio on my phone despite the volume slider being at zero and then it turned out there was a new "AI Volume Slider" that "intelligently" worked out which volume you wanted and I had to disable that.

Wasn't going to post this (since these tests are rarely meaningful) but my result seems kinda unusual; most people I've seen who got Kindness had Determination being pretty low. Makes me wonder what the most+least common top two are.

The Undertale personality quiz, with Kindness as the top result at 75%, followed by Determination (65%), Bravery (46%), Perseverance (46%), Justice (45%), Integrity (36%) and Patience (35%).
