Yeah it seems RM did pretty much what I guess the BBC hoped they would do which is play well for the juries (not quite OG3NE heights but Lucie Jones levels), but their gamble that the song (and its funky structure) would grab televoters didn't quite get there.

I think it's difficult to truly sniff out a pattern based on four points of data, including one where Joost's presence DOES inflate numbers in that one semi. Which is why I think seeing percentages (like Italy has shared) would help, to see if there are outsized presences elsewhere.

I mean, both Joost and... you-know-who were in that semifinal, and neither was there this year. Plus if it was ONLY Joost, then that doesn't explain why numbers are UP in the Final this year. But also without percentages it's hard to read much into this.
