Today marks 150 years since the Beefeeters at the Tower Of London abandoned their ancient uniform of shoes painstakingly stitched from the hides of thousands of bumble bees for leather boots. Bee cobbling is now a lost art and all the original bee feet have long decayed away.

Netflix cancelled Bad Dinosaurs after a mere 8 episodes and somehow, according to my kid, it's my fault. She cheered up when I told her that the show was made by @rathergood.bsky.social, the guy who did the Viking Kittens video she loves, but then she demanded I tell him to make more episodes.
