#rardraws || #ftpverse - an old ftpverse sokai i didn't post anywhere and sure, let's make my art tag more than just eri!!!! i think my expressions are Peak, here, very good energy

Pencil drawing of Sora and Kairi side-by-side. Sora is grinning sheepishly, rubbing at the back of his neck. Kairi has her arms crossed and is rolling her eyes, exasperated.

#ftpverse [context: this is from an event i did in 2012 where i took questions from the readers and then wrote me myself first person prose asking them these questions] wow what a great example of my "if it doesnt happen on screen it isnt real" mindset. this is part of why DI was 500k lol.

Screenshot of prose that reads:
I looked at it, and nodded. "Right, it's from Organization Number 15. And… it's similar to one of the questions that DarkNinjaPanda asked. They ask: 'Are Sora, Riku, and Kairi still wearing the same clothes from the Truth Hurts? Or did they ever change appearance?'"

"I haven't changed clothes since Falling to Pieces," Riku said. "I need to though…"

Namine turned to him. "You can do that after-"

"It has to be in-story."

"So, the answer: no," I said. "None of them have had a chance to change their clothes."
End prose.

i think in a lot of "doomed" narratives, killing the character/characters off in the end is actually, like, the easier way out. i think that sometimes (sometimes!) it is more interesting to be like. well actually no all of that happened and now they still have to live. like that's sometimes harder

I finally get to see the perfect version of me / The only problem happens to be it’s not actually me [OCs]

Drawing of the poster’s OCs in greyscale. Apostle Solis stands in the foreground, talking to people out of frame. He’s smiling and engaged and looks casual. A distance behind him, Saint Solis stands with both sets of arms crossed, frowning as he wordlessly observes. He has not a hair out of place and there’s a stylized saint halo around his head like the ones seen in religious art.

oldie (but relevant again) (maybe) (???)

(during the Eden storyline) Ryne asks the warrior of light, "What was Shiva like? What do you think of when you think of ice?"

an image of memories of ysayle reflected in shards of ice - her determination, her shattered hopes, beefing with Estinien, adoring moogles - and, in the center, our last memory of her, falling through the skies

The warrior of light covers his face, unable to reply. "I don't know what Shiva was like," he thinks, "When I think of ice I think of my friend."

I have found a wonderfully cursed glam Sky Pirate's Mask (of Scouting or Striking) + Pince-nez glasses You can toggle the facemask off and dye the goggles, but dyes result in losing the bright eye colors

my FFXIV wol Meruru, an Au Ra, wearing two sets of eyewear clipping through each other, creating what looks like giant cartoonish lizard or cat eyes with vertical eye slits and gold irises

another angle with the other item option, now with blue eyes and a black facemask

using the "manually adjust visor" setting removes the facemask, leaving just the gold goggles (giant cartoon eyes)

Shovel talk from friends. [OCs]

Two sequential images. A trio of River’s friends face Solis. Everyone is dressed casually, implying they’re out and about somewhere.

1-

Wren: Hey, listen.
Nall: This is the happiest we’ve ever seen him. So if you break his heart —

2 -

Speaker unspecified: Then we’d maybe need to kill you. :|

There is a box pointing to this dialogue that says “unserious?”

Solis, looking pensive: Hmmm. Agreed.

There is a box pointing to this dialogue that says “completely serious”. Solis is also imagining three different little chibi images of River making various delighted and happy expressions.

Drawing of River returning to the group.

Looking cheerful, he says, “Back! What were you guys talking about?”

The other three look awkward and happily reply, “haha nothing much!”

Solis says nothing, baffled at their lie.

Please take extra care, I am told they are quite delicate #fieldsofmistria

seridia from fields of mistria is pictured with her hand extended, smiling imperiously at a butterfly (a common buckeye/junonia coenia specifically) that has landed on her fingertips.

seridia is a dragon who has assumed the form of a humanoid woman. she has wild long light blue hair, red eyes, warm gray skin with white markings on the cheekbones and shoulders, horns that sprout slightly behind and above her pointy ears and grow forwards to frame her forehead like a crown, and a long tail that is segmented and barbed like that of a scorpion. she is wearing her fall outfit, which has three-layered gold pauldrons topped in white bone layers, bone gauntlets over dark blue opera gloves, and a top that's mostly just stylized bat wings with gold piping that encircle her breasts but leave her cleavage out. she has indigo eyeshadow and pinkish red lipstick on but the red talons are natural.

she is posed against a bright blue sky with drifting white clouds, some yellow-orange leaves blowing past her.

despite her careful handling of the butterfly her dragonsworn just brought her, she is about to ask the little bug whose payroll it's on.
