Also saw about a dozen people get carried out by security because they passed out. The phones were good as calls for help; someone would go down, twenty phones with their lights on popped up and waved so security could come. Gotta hydrate more and pregame less, kids.

Last night, I went to my first general admission concert in thirty years. I'm glad I'm tall because it was the only way I could cope with the forest of smartphones that popped up at the beginning of every damn song. Never doing that again unless the floor has a slope.

Ye gods Screenshot from an email I just got from someone, which I am just sharing to say: PAY NO ONE. You, as the creative person, should get paid. These truckloads of bullshit are easy to cut through: Who’s getting paid? If it’s not you, run away. It’s a scam.

I have allegedly been offered an opportunity to publish my book with Henry Holt. They are asking for two things:
A Universal Media Core Dispatch and an Executive Acquisition Pitch. They are telling me that they need these two things and that I should use a Hollywood screenwriter. They are charging a huge amount of money. I am just wondering if this seems legit or if they are trying to take me to the cleaners.

ICE remains very active in WA State, but there is less news coverage about it, along with a concern that their abductions are becoming normalized. ICE abductions continue to happen all the time in the Puget Sound area. Sounds like this weekend might have been particularly busy.

Maybe we shouldn't have done this class action against Anthropic but should have instead sat back and let Romancelandia raze them. Sure, we wouldn't get our measly settlement money, but the utter destruction of Anthropic would have served as a warning to the other slop farms to surrender.
