So now I have some permanent metaprogress upgrades. Its got a little roguelite element to the shmup waves now, but you also get powerups during gameplay like a standard shmup. I'm definitely leaning far more casual than hardcore here. #pixelart #indiedev #gamedev #shmup

thing i just lost motivation to finish ahaha

redraw of an older drawing with Olimar laying on the floor looking up to Pom saying "If i had abilities like yours... maybe i could have found my way... home" which is an actual thing he says to the player before passing out and being rescued. This part of the game stuck with me the most my first play through of pikmin 4 so I decided to redraw it but, i didnt like how the colors came out and i decided to abandon it ahaha

Finally implemented a CRT shader in Loki's Revenge. Might render weirdly on here, but it looks great in-person Also ended up spiraling down a perf rabbit hole today, upside is that the game is much more stable and performant, downside is that I spent a LOT of time on it #gamedev #godot
