doodle prequel comic for friend's fic No Longer Them - archiveofourown.org/works/86158656

A prequel comic for the ao3 pikmin fanfic "No Longer Them" by NotHoco aka @Rustydoodlebot on bsky

"Olimar" is holding a blanket about to hand it off to Collin who has his hands extended. They both are caught off guard mid conversation by Yonny

Y: My my - You are quite hesitant to eat for someone who hasn't had anything in a week
Y: Collin! I need your assistance! You don't mind me pulling you away, hm?
C: Hope you're not trying to rope me in one of your weird tests...
O: I was returning the blanket you gave me -
Y: If you were afraid of needles you could have said so. I do NOT like liars.
O: Ah- yes yes! My mistake.

Flashback to the check up with Yonny. "Olimar" is sitting in Yonny's office while Yonny thinks to himself, confused over the symptoms "Olimar" is showing.

Y: Slow and faint heartbeat... looks rather pale... dehydrated? Malnourished? Very low temperature... I am missing something...
O: Can we do blood sampling another time? I am a bit hungry... and tired...

Yonny finds his excuse to leave rather odd as he turns to look at "Olimar".

while back i got this dm req from a guy who was "the next coming of christ and those who denied it were programmed by the government to stop him" tldr guy asked me if i was real. the concept of the u.s. investing time in a bsky art "bot" sexualizing a middle-aged alien from plant game

I’ll be quite honest, I haven’t been up to post here during the end of last year and beginning of this one due to many personal matters. I don’t enjoy serious convo - I make fandom acc to get away from stuff out of my hands !! 😔 (1/6)

best part of new years is making my annual visit to instagram to make my singular post then leaving the app for the rest of the year

the rescue corps

An edited screenshot from a Tiktok video with text reading “Hey guys when you say something is for the girls and the gays can you include me in that as well? The girls and the gays and Dingo if it’s not too much trouble thanks guys”. Below is Dingo’s face peeking from the bottom of the image.

[ Luka ] @pkmnluka.bsky.social · 31/12/2025

heart is in the right place

Yonny pushes away dingo's ear, "I can proofread it if you'd like" referring to a thank you letter Dingo is writing to Shepherd.
"Huh? You aren't into girls. What more would you-" Dingo is confused
"Dingo." Yonny grins harder at Dingo in disbelief that Dingo would forget he is transgender. Dingo still doesn't get the message.

yonny being a transman is such a popular hc in the pikmin fandom i now realize. i am not original i stole this hc off of someone else HAHAHA

Dingo is nervously asking Collin, fidgeting with the table with his finger, "So! You and our captain are close... are you... do you l-..."
Collin bluntly says, "Dingo. I'm gay". This is the 3rd time he has come out to Dingo.
Dingo only exclaims off camera, "I KNEW THAT !!"
no he didn't

my hc for collin being gay was for a one off joke at first but now im deathly serious that he is a gay man to me !!! No one on the team is his type tho i think he's rather die than get into a relationship with any of these guys

Dingo is crossing his arms, "Alright, men! Captains gone." Pom is staring off into the distance not aware they are also being included in the speech since they are not a man.
Dingo quickly corrects realizing he forgot Pom is new to the team, "-AND Rookie ! Captains Gone!-"
This finally gets their attention.

I have always liked interpreting pom as nonbinary. I really latched onto that hc the first time i have drawn em and never let go

at what point do characters with little solid canon info and heavy amounts of hcs do they eventually become ocs. Where does the line get blurry

Pikmin have a scruff on the back of their neck, just like a cat. This is how the captains can pick them up so easily. It doesn’t appear painful at all, and considering how Pikmin yearn to be thrown, they seem to like it.

Pom teaching Collin about the Pikmin’s scruff

Olimar holding a Yellow Pikmin by the Scruff

I know several people who would like to be held by Olimar like that…
