I lost my mom and grandmother to pancreatic cancer. Mom was only 47 and passed within 9 months of diagnosis. Its insidious. Hard to find early. Difficult to treat. Almost always fatal. This gives me so much hope… but there’s a bill in the U.S. to ban mRNA vaccines. We must push back.

Researching concentration camps, I often saw governments justify atrocities and genocide against a violent opposition by saying "they would do worse to us if they could," without acknowledging that these opponents lacked any real capacity to rival the level of state violence that had been unleashed.

Wow, this resonates. I grew up in VA, including time in Fairfax & undergrad at W&M, & w/ a dad often deployed as well. I was so depressed at W&M especially, like a sponge soaking up all the ghostly trauma of the place. This brings the smell of those old buildings & the dark, swampy woods right back
