A twitter refugee - and the handle means "Quite good thank you" Actually it doesn't. I was looking for a short handle and that was the only 4 letter one I could find. Tend to post random quips, as reality is just too bleak

This is a classic of AI: transfer the routine part to a computer, make the human watch for errors and hold them liable. Like the self-driving car which transfers control to a human miliseconds before a crash

Five years ago today it seemed that the golden age of naval idiocy had disappeared forever. That was before the Venezuelan patrol vessel Naiguatá managed to recapture some of this spirit by fighting - at least at that point - the dumbest action of the 21st century.
Venezuelan patrol vessel Naiguatá. It's your typical small warship, and I'd like to draw especial attention to the fact that in this image it's equally typical in being above the water. This is what professional authors call "foreshadowing"...

Heathrow can be described in many ways today, but definitely not "fast moving"
Heidi Alexander quoted as saying "

I’m receiving updates on the fast-moving situation at Heathrow Airport.

I’m grateful to emergency services responding to the fire, and National Grid for working to restore power to the airport and homes.

I’d urge passengers not to travel to the airport, and contact their airline.
