We show that the PE bias in confidence judgments can be a Bayes-optimal consequence of inference in high-dimensional spaces, and in CNNs, the bias also increases with dimensionality

This paper shows how measures and constructs in psychology get introduced but rarely reused. Would love to see a similar analysis done on methods of analyzing neural data.
