Zelensky and Ukraine aren’t losing America. At least not in the sense that Ukraine did anything to cause it, or could’ve done something different to keep it. America chose to side with Russia when a plurality of voters empowered Putin sympathizers who disdain democracy, law, alliances, and Europe.

We're planning a public execution. We only admit white "refugees" from a former apartheid state. Our domestic security service uses white nationalist messaging. And the president routinely appears to encourage or endorse violence against his opponents & the media. Nothing subtle or complicated here.

Editor's note: In letters sent after the Oct. 8 U.S.
Senate debate between Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers, most writers either viewed the debate as a wash, or believed El-Sayed was the winner. We strive to present a fair reflection of reader sentiment when publishing letters to the editor, but the two letters from readers who considered Rogers the winner contained racial and ethnic slurs - as well as demonstrably false claims about El-Sayed - and thus did not meet our standards for publication.
