Teaching a 2 hour, in-person dosage calculation workshop from 6:30-8:30 is BRUTAL. Glad I don't have to do that again--at least not this semester. Haven't been around much on here bc of stupid TX age verification law affecting my phone usage of bsky. Hope all is well with all of y'all.

Estimate at the Subaru dealer is that it will take 2 hours to do an oil change--and that's with an appointment. Sigh. Also it's raining hard and the trip here (half an hour) was not fun. Double sigh. Last time I came here it took much less time than the original estimate, so here's hoping.

Got hit with the demand for age verification on my phone bluesky app yesterday, but deckblue on desktop and graysky app both work without it. So I guess I won't be using bsky on my phone anymore. We'll see if I have to think about deleting at some point.

Did some airplane travel this week- the number of people back to wearing masks over hantavirus and Ebola is truly shocking.
I feel sad for the people who live their lives in fear over over-hyped, extremely rare diseases.
People, so fearful that they can't go out in public or travel without masks...
I pity them, I worry for their mental health, I even worry for our country that has so many guillible people - but these poor fools are not my enemy.
