I'm seeing a lot of framing about this as "attacking women's sports" but title IX is only tangentially about sports. It is primarily anti-educational discrimination. Just as the trans panic was not about sports, this is not about sports. They want women illiterate and unemployable.

An anti-trans doctor apparently testified that he has only ever treated 6 to 8 adult patients with gender dysphoria out of approximately 20,000 patients over the course of his career. OMG! That looks worse than random chance, considering an estimated 0.6% of people experience gender dysphoria.
